I used to see life a certain way. I believed in a version of how things were supposed to go. But somewhere along the way, my perspective changed.
What I’ve come to realize is this: I don’t know how long I’ll be here, or exactly how things will unfold—but I do know I have a story to tell with my time on this earth. And I want it to be a meaningful one.
I want my story to be gritty and raw and real. I want it to be fun and full of struggle, challenge, triumph, excitement, love, passion, and creativity. Not polished or perfect—just honest. Something worth remembering, something worth feeling.
We don’t get to choose everything that happens to us. But we do get to choose our next move. And when I think about life that way, the fear and uncertainty feel smaller. In their place, something hopeful begins to take root.
So I’m choosing to live this story on purpose. With music. With heart. With whatever time I’ve got.
Let’s see where it goes.
